Région transfrontalière située au carrefour historique de l’Europe, le Hainaut est héritier et dépositaire d’une riche tradition musicale née d’un long métissage culturel tour à tour puisé aux influences françaises, flamandes, espagnoles, autrichiennes, allemandes, anglaises et italiennes.

La collection Patrimoine musical du Hainaut se consacre à la publication et à la diffusion d’œuvres inédites qui lui sont liées sous la forme d’éditions scientifiques accessibles aux professionnels comme aux amateurs de musique.
 

Plus largement, la collection accueille les œuvres inscrites au répertoire du Chœur de chambre Harmonia Sacra ou interprétées dans le cadre du festival valenciennois Embar(o)quement immédiat !

Patrimoine musical du Hainaut Collection – Musical Heritage of the Hainaut

As a border region at the historical crossroads of Europe, the Hainaut is heir and trustee to a rich musical tradition born of a long cultural intermingling, successively drawing on French, Flemish, Spanish, Austrian, German, English and Italian influences.

The Patrimoine musical du Hainaut collection will be devoted to the publication and distribution of relevant unpublished works in the form of scholarly editions accessible to professional and amateur musicians alike.

More broadly, the collection will house works from the repertoire of the chamber choir Harmonia Sacra or those performed during the Embar(o)quement immédiat! festival of the Valenciennes region.
